The audience for the proposed project is students not only in a Numerical Methods course, but also in upper level engineering courses that use numerical methods or mathematical packages. In addition, faculty can use the resources as a teaching tool in such courses. Although classified as an engineering project, the topics of numerical methods in this proposal in the General engineering major track will apply directly to nonengineering students of science majors (physics, chemistry, geology and biology). For the General track, real-life examples are taken from freshman level college courses in natural sciences.
